I am a photographer based in Dallas, Texas. I'm originally from Los Angeles where I was lucky to attend Art Center College in Pasadena, one of the great design schools. I graduated in 1978 and worked for a brilliant photographer named David Alexander who shot celebrities and specialized in album covers.
Belushi & Ackroyd - David Alexander Photo When my son Lewis was born things got a little crowded in our West Hollywood one bedroom so I found a job at the legendary Photographer's Inc. in Dallas and moved my little family to Texas. Lewis grew up and moved back to California (after a hitch in The Marine Corps and a couple of free trips to Iraq) where he lives a short walk from Santa Monica Beach. I'm still here in Texas.
I'm building this site using SquareSpace (google it), and soon it will include a lot more galleries and information. It's a lot a fun, but of course every time I get busy shooting I have to pause and get real work done. Page back in my blog to see a couple of entries about the process of using SquareSpace, which is a blast to work with, and easy to figure out (compared to anything else I've tried).
